Millwood High School’s 2024 African Heritage Month T-shirt was designed by grade 12 student Rebecca Monyoncho. The T-shirt features an image of the Sankofa bird – which is a traditional symbol in African culture that represents the need to reflect on the past to build a successful future.

T-shirts are $15 and part of the proceeds of the shirt goes toward a scholarship awarded through the Millwood High School Community Awards application to an African Nova Scotian Student from Millwood High School to support their post-secondary studies.

T-shirts can be purchased using SchoolCash Online or with cash or debit/apple pay in the Guidance office. Sizes include Small, Medium, Large, X-Large and XX- Large and sizes are limited until supplies last.
