Millwood High

An Alert was sent out last night to all parents, guardians and grade 12 students:

Good evening Millwood parents and guardians of grade 12 students.
Currently, government has directed that all schools are closed until April 6, 2020. Although schools are not presently open to the public, we are working closely with the EECD and HRCE on plans to support students and learning.
As a follow up to the recent communication from HRCE, I am sending this message to grade 12 students who may need a chrome book at home to support their learning when a plan is in place. We have a limited number of chrome books so if you have access to a desk top computer, laptop, or chrome book at home you will likely not need a school chrome book. If your child requires a chrome book at home, please complete the google form by visiting our website or clicking on the link below to book a time on Tuesday, March 24th or Wednesday, March 25th between 11am and 2pm to visit the school and pick up a chrome book. If neither of these days work for you, please let me know ( and we can make arrangements for another day/time between March 23rd and March 27th. If you or your child is in self-isolation, you may send a friend or family member to pick up a chrome book for you.
Link to sign out a chrome book – Note: This link will only work in google search browser or gnspes. Please copy link and open in google or gnspes.

I will be on-site to provide chrome books as required in a safe and efficient manner. It is important for students or parents to be present at the time of their scheduled appointments as we will have a table set up in the front lobby to distribute chrome books in order to minimize contact and practice social distancing. The student or parent will be asked to sign for the chrome book to ensure that all out going technology has been accounted for. On orders from the Chief Medical Officer of Health, students are NOT permitted to retrieve items from their lockers or to meet with teachers.
On behalf of all teachers and staff at Millwood High, I wish you good health as we go through these extraordinary times together.
Stay safe everyone.
