General:
GRADE 12s! Your Grad Hoodies are now available! Orders must be place by Jan 29! The link can be found in the email sent to families.
Grade 12s can now vote for this year's prom theme! The google form to vote is in the guidance google classroom and will close Feb 1!!
To support students who need a quiet space to study for exams room 237 (schools plus) will be open to anyone who needs it-if the door is open you are welcome to come in.
This is a pre-reminder to ALL students to return your textbooks, and any library books from the first semester. If you are a local or international student finishing school after the first semester, please return all your borrowed items, including your chromebook and charger.
There will be a meeting tomorrow at lunch in Ms Verge’s room for all students and staff helping plan the African Heritage Month Assembly.
Grade 12 students, if you need a retake of your grad photos, you can now book an appointment online using the link on the Millwood High website. The retake day will be on Feb 19 and 29th.
Athletics:
Tonight is the Boys Varsity Basketball team’s SENIOR NIGHT! We encourage you all to come out and support our 5 seniors: Ben Dale, Fabian Colley, Tyler Mulvagh, Ja’Kyen Flint, and Andre Ceccato before the game, then stay to cheer them on as they play Halifax West at 8pm. Let’s go knights!
Today at 4pm at the sackville arena is our girls hockey teams senior night agonist Islandview! We celebrate our Co-Captains Lily MacRae and Violet Coffin as well as Josie Keizer, Olivia Boutilier, Olivia Fraser, Ella Savary, and Kailey Buffett as they wrap up their Millwood Hockey careers. Come out tonight and cheer them on!!!
Tonight at 8:30pm the boys hockey team takes on Dartmouth for their senior night! We have a long list of seniors on this team, and we wish them all the best, find them in the halls repping their numbers today!!
Be sure to spot some of our senior knights wearing their jerseys today and come support them for their last regular season home games!!!!
